Muehlhan Industrial Services acquires Steigerbouw van der Panne, a Dutch-based specialist in scaffolding and access at height solutions.

Muehlhan Industrial Services announced today that it expands its European and BeNeLux presencewith the strategic acquisition of Steigerbouw van der Panne, a Dutch-based specialist in scaffoldingand access at height solutions.

Van der Panne is a leading player of scaffolding and access at height solutions in the industrial, offshore, infrastructure and construction markets. The company provides its services on-site to assetowners throughout Belgium and The Netherlands.

The company, a family-owned business, was founded in 1984 by its namesake, Wout van der Panne. Itwas established at the location of its former sister company, Havenbedrijf Atlantica BV in RotterdamSouth, close to De Kuip stadium. Under the leadership of Rob Bos, the company grew from its originalpurpose of “absorbing Atlantica’s downtime” to a subcontractor in scaffolding projects and, under theleadership of Rob’s son Pascal Bos, continued to develop to an independent and professionalscaffolding contractor for small to large scaffolding projects.
